Join your colleagues for a two-part webinar led by 2011 graduates of the Career Pathways Program and sponsored by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. E. Thomas Brewer, director of programs at the Archstone Foundation and Jeffrey Malloy, director of finance and administration at the Irvine Foundation will present case studies on strategies for effective performance appraisals and streamlining the grantmaking process.
During this webinar, you will:

· Apply change management tips to the grantmaking process
· Examine what motivates people and improves performance
· Review a proposed model that captures staff needs and values

E. Thomas Brewer, Director of Programs joined the Archstone Foundation in 2002 and is responsible for its grantmaking program and staff. Prior to that, he worked for the Alliance Healthcare Foundation in San Diego, where he managed infectious disease programs and regional funding collaboratives.
Jeffery P. Malloy, Director of Finance and Administration at the Irvine Foundation is responsible for oversight of accounting and budgetary processes, grants administration, human resources, information technology, and operations. He also consults with grantees on their finances and directs Irvine’s Fund for Financial Restructuring. Before that, he served as general manager at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco for more than 10 years.
