Description

Leaders of corporate foundations and giving programs have an opportunity to redefine the role of corporate philanthropy.  By taking the initiative to align and engage their efforts more closely with the business, these leaders can help unleash new resources and ideas that can greatly enhance the company’s positive impact on society.  At the same time, this alignment can create new value for the company and increase its competitive advantage.

Join Wendy Ramage Hawkins, Executive Director of the Intel Foundation for a lively discussion on the crafting of the new Council on Foundations corporate resource guide, “Increasing Impact, Enhancing Value: A Practitioner’s Guide to Leading Corporate Philanthropy”.  Wendy will share the recommendations in the guide and engage in a round table discussion of corporate philanthropy in the region and how we can all advance the practice and profession of corporate philanthropy.

Funders are encouraged to read the online version of the guide and be prepared to share your reactions and ask questions with your fellow corporate funders.
