Save the date for a special full day workshop on how Oregon and Southwest Washington funders can engage with equity work in the context of today’s changing social climate, both as individuals and as organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life in our region.
Scot Nakagawa of ChangeLab will kick off the day with a breakfast plenary to ground us in the context of our region’s past and present struggles with racism, white nationalist movements, and efforts around diversity, equity, and inclusion. This session will be followed by a Q & A and table discussions, and then we will move on to our lunchtime panel discussion of changing practices and grantmaker-grantee relationships. There will be three afternoon breakout sessions focused on moving to action, before we close the day out with an informal closing reception.
A full agenda will be available soon; we hope you can join us.
