Youth Music Project Seeks Cowbell Instructor
Join the Youth Music Project’s team and help deserving kids get what they desperately need most this summer—more cowbell! The Youth Music Project is looking for a few outstanding teachers / musicians to help lead our innovative music camps (including our first annual Cowbell Camp).
Help set the tune for our nonprofit’s future growth and expansion in the West Linn / Wilsonville area by helping us teach classes focused on rock, country, guitar, bass, percussion, piano, etc. Instructors are not required to have a degree in music education, but should be fun, creative, hardworking, and should have ample experience successfully teaching music to kids. YMP’s current pay scale for music instructors ranges from $25 to $39 per hour. Because of our work with youth, every staff member and volunteer must pass a strict FBI fingerprint background check before starting work.
We are currently accepting applications for all teaching positions, but are especially looking for outstanding instructors to work full time during the following music camps:
June 25th—29th
July 9th—13th
July 23rd—27th
August 6th—10th
The Youth Music Project’s camps are held in public school buildings throughout the West Linn—Wilsonville School District.
If you are interested in applying for a paid instructor position, please apply online at https://youthmusicproject.org/jobs
This secure site will ask you to submit the following: contact information, a list of skills and qualifications, and three professional references. You will also be given an opportunity to upload your resume or CV and will be asked a series of questions concerning our background check process. The entire process should take about 10 minutes or less.
Because of the volume of applications, we will not be able to respond to every application, but we will keep your information on file for one year in case new opportunities arise. Please do not call or email YMP staff concerning your application.
