New United Way report highlights transformational process
In 2014, United Way of the Columbia-Willamette launched an ambitious initiative to break the cycle of poverty in our region. Through their work in the past three years, they’ve come to some realizations that forced them to rethink the way they operated. The report Race and Place: Transforming the Modern Nonprofit highlights the changes that have come about internally as a result of insights from the communities they serve.
On July 20, GRANTMAKERS members are invited to come and hear United Way leaders talk about the successes and difficulties of creating new, mutually accountable funder and nonprofit relationships. Learn more about the program and register online here.
