Grant Application Process

First time applicants or those who have NOT been funded in the past must submit a Letter of Inquiry to the Foundation’s Executive Director by January 1st for the April 1st grant deadline or July 1st for the October 1st grant deadline.

Following a review of your LOI, the Foundation’s Executive Director will notify you whether the Foundation will consider your application and, if so, give you information about scheduling a site visit.  It is expected that both the principal contact and at least one board member from your organization will be involved in the site visit.

Following the site visit you will receive notification from the Foundation’s Executive Director as to whether you should submit a grant application.

Applicants who have previously been funded must submit their grant request by April 1 or October 1.
